Welcome to NEWRAD 2026!

I am very pleased to announce that the 16th conference on New Developments and Applications in Optical Radiometry (NEWRAD) will be hosted by KRISS on the beautiful Island of Jeju, South Korea from 13 to 17 September 2026. In the spirit of previous conferences, we will be looking forward to presentations discussing the most recent activities ranging from state-of-the-art laboratory-based measurements to space-based remote sensing applications. The conference program will encourage lively discussions during coffee breaks and poster sessions. Social events and the conference dinner will provide opportunities for informal get-together and visits to the most iconic landmarks of Jeju. The NEWARD Scientific Committee and the NEWRAD local organizing committee are looking forward to hosting you at NEWRAD 2026.
